z/OS Communications Server's integrated Intrusion Detection Services (IDS)
leverage Communications Server's position as a communications endpoint in order
to detect attacks on z/OS that otherwise might go undetected by traditional
network-based IDS.� Used in combination with network-based IDS, z/OS IDS can
provide an extra layer of "self-protection" that could be a real difference
maker.� In this session we will explore Communications Server's IDS and how it
can be used to detect intrusion attempts against z/OS.�� -- Presented by Chris Meyer
