This session will demonstrate a systematic approach to right-sizing your
mainframe environment using LPAR level data. It uses a high-level approach to
estimating the size of the machine you need as opposed to the one you have, and
can be used as the precursor to a more detailed zPCR study if you plan to
replace your mainframe(s). This is not an exact blueprint for how to do things,
but an example showing a methodology that may work for you.
