Porting assembler code from AMODE 31 to 64 requires much more effort than third-generation languages. Phoenix Software International is converting its flagship product (E)JES® to run in AMODE 64. This presentation covers porting techniques; hidden pitfalls; and outright hinderences encountered during the project.
