Which programming and scripted languages should I use, then newest or the tried-and-true? This session will review mainframe programming languages with some history lessons intertwined and discuss how they interact with subsystems using specialized libraries as well as use of specific IDEs, tools, and for writing, building, debugging, testing, and deploying programs in the languages.
