As we ramp up training programs for the next generation of Mainframe developers, a challenge is becoming evident – while the platform is respected for its powerful workload processing capabilities, new-to-the-platform developers are not satisfied with the available tools. At the same time, seasoned mainframe professionals are more comfortable and productive with the tools and processes they have used for years. In this session we explore this challenge and detail the advantages of allowing the two communities of developers to collaborate with tool integrations, so that each can use their tools-of-choice while remaining productive.
