For many z/OS installations it is essential to control cost via the z Systems
defined capacity and LPAR group capacity facilities. Balancing cost control with service level agreements has been a manual activity, tainted with uncertainty, at times. In this session the speaker will provide an introduction and update about the recent z/OS Capacity Provisioning functions in z/OS V2.2 and V2.1.
