In this session we will explore the new JVMServer introduced in CICS TS 4.1. As the z/OS JVM has evolved CICS has been at the forefront of enabling it to support more and more business-critical applications, and integrating it into the tried and trusted CICS runtime. We will review the advantages which multi-threading brings to the JVMServer, how this has enabled the Dynamic Scripting FeaturePack to scale so well and discuss some of the potential for future exploitation.
