This session will look at the two primary methods of encrypting data within your IBM databases: the DB2 Built-In Functions and the IBM Infosphere Guardium Data Encryption for DB2 and IMS Databases product. This is an intermediate level session and assumes you have some familiarity with the IBM crypto hardware and ICSF. We'll look at how the two products leverage the hardware and software to secure the data. We'll also touch briefly on network encryption as it relates to DB2. Greg Boyd ; IBM Corporation
