Abstract: This presentation details the steps necessary to design CICS programs to replace 3270 presentation logic programs with their web-aware equivalents. It discusses the problems that can be encountered in the design/programming and how to resolve them. A discussion of tips and tricks to achieve optimal performance of the web presentation logic program is presented. In addition, JavaScript will be discussed to replace/enhance functionality.
