The purpose of this session is, through actual samples - demonstrate enabling cloud, mobile, and modern language exploitation of Db2 for z/OS.
Create a sample Db2 for z/OS stored procedure
Create three different native rest services
1. Based on a SQL statement
2. Based on a stored procedure
3. Based on a stored procedure to execute/return result of dynamic SQL
Demonstrate use of Db2 native rest service via postman, visual studio code rest client, and via node.js application.
Integrate the native rest services via z/OS connect, and demonstrate exploitation via postman, visual studio code rest client, and node.js application.-Patrick Bossman-IBM Corporation
