Open source is reshaping the Mainframe application development space. Broadcom is leading the way first with Zowe, followed by Eclipse Che4z, a web based hosted IDE and for mainframe application development. Eclipse Che4z was announced in July 2019. This session covers the evolution of Eclipse Che4z since the announce including architecture, new features, Zowe dependencies/changes, community involvement/feedback, roadmap and most importantly a demo of a real world use case to show how a modern developer can benefit from the use of a thin client IDE.-Venkat Balabhadrapatruni-Broadcom Inc
