FICO’s EDM solutions rely on a SOA to decouple components and allow for platform independence and flexibility.  IBM’s CICS Web Service Enablement services make it possible for mainframe applications to fully integrate into enterprise wide systems.  

 

 

FICO’s Falcon product is designed to run in CICS and batch.  This presented numerous challenges.

In this session, FICO’s Development director and lead engineer will walk though:

• Falcon’s utilization of Web Services in CICS (requestors and providers)
• How these are delivered to our customers (packaging and delivery)
• How we implemented batch processing while utilizing CICS Web Services
