		Although many commercial software products are written to run on z/OS, only a relatively small number achieve commercial success. This is due to a combination of factors that are frequently poorly understood by the team of people that will be attempting to bring a new product to market.
Potential market evaluation, product selection criteria, and technical design issues will be presented and discussed.
