TDS (Tivoli Directory Server) for z/OS and RACF are two mature technologies that can provide critical function and services needed for securing an enterprise. Often an enterprise includes workloads deployed on distributed systems. TDS for z/OS and RACF have a special relationship that allows for the introduction of RACF technology into heterogeneous environments. In this presentation, we will show to use ITDS+RACF features like remote resource profile access, native and remote authentication, password synchronization, and remote authorization in heterogeneous environments.
