In this session, the speaker will discuss the new workspace and mobile interface features in the Hardware Management Console (HMC) 2.14.0, available with the IBM z14. Â The new HMC Mobile App monitoring and recovery action controls will be described along with the security controls for Mobile. Â The Tree User Interface is the only interface supported in HMC 2.14.0, Â and new features to aid in that transition include Tabbed Workspace, Favorites, and Search. Â The Manage System Time user interface is completely revamped to include visual representation (topological display), validation of changes shown in that visualization, and inline definition of terms. Â Various other task enhancements/z14 support will also be described in this update.-Brian Valentine-IBM Corporation
