With the announced new zEnterprise system (z196), it delivers up to 60% improvement in performance per core and up to 60% increase in total capacity for the z MIPS workloads. This session focuses on the IBM SDK for z/OS Java Technology Edition Version 6 Release 0 Modification 1 performance throughput improvements on Java-based workloads. We will also discuss the newly enhanced Java run-time environment, and System z Java roadmap and future.
