IBM is extending its ServerPac software delivery offering to use z/OSMF portable software instances with integrated workflows for configuration tasks. CICS Transaction Server, Db2, IMS and their associated products are offered in this new form, and z/OS and associated products are coming soon. Come to this session to learn about installing IBM software using z/OSMF Software Management. In particular, you'll learn about software instances, portable software instances, how to acquire a ServerPac portable software instance from IBM, how to install the portable software instance, how z/OSMF Workflows supplied with the software will be exploited during the installation, and how you can exploit z/OSMF Software Management after the software is installed.
