In this session, the speaker will provide an introduction to microservices and their driver from a general IT point of view. We will explore 'What they are', 'how they're different to SOA', and 'why z Systems' generally, and more specifically CICS. Are Microservices a really good fit. This will develop into an introduction to container technology (including generally avialable tooling such as Docker), followed by a demo of the NEW CICS Provisioning Toolkit.-Chris Poole-IBM Corporation
