Updated in 2019, this is a (self directed) hands-on lab that will focus on identifying Pervasive Encryption Candidates (both DFSMS Data Set and CF Structures) and the CPU resource required to encrypt / decrypt these data sets. It will also identify z14 zHyperLink candidates and the estimated I/O response time improvements if zHyperLink technology would be implemented. The IBM Z Batch Network Analyzer (zBNA) tool with the latest enhancements will be used to identify candidates and value from these latest IBM Z technologies.-Joel Moss-IBM; Valerie Spencer-IBM
