Today the rules are changing and the cloud has rapidly become a reality.  During this session the presenter will provide a high level overview of the cloud vendors, pricing models, as well as how data security is ensured.   This will include a discussion on how the mainframe can connect to cloud storage.  The speaker will then look at how the cloud can be part of a disaster recovery strategy or a longer term archive strategy.   In addition there will be a discussion on what types of applications and workloads might be best to consider when utilizing the cloud.-Steve Aaker-Oracle
