		When it comes to the compiler the general expectation is to kick off a compile job and get an executable that is fast and functional and is highly tuned for the target hardware. Like any other tool, compilers can be tuned to suit the application. That's where this session is going to help with. 
In this session we answer some of the most common questions asked when using compilers, such as: What does ARCH(n)/TUNE(n) do for/to my compiled code? What can HGPR, FLOAT( AFP ), COMPACT do to improve the code generated by the compiler? What coding techniques can benefit from higher arch levels? What happens to my code when I turn optimization on?
