In this MVS Core Technologies Project Opening session; the Project Manager (PM) will discuss the topics this project covers; introduce the volunteers who support the project; and explain how you can assist us in an ongoing; or even infrequent basis. The PM will point out some new sessions presented by the project; highlight some sessions hosted by other projects we believe are relevant to our platform; and cover any other administrivia you should know about.

Scott Engleman; IBM z/OS Offering Manager; will talk about IBM futures; then  Patty Little from IBM Level 2 will talk about recent PMRs and APARs.
