Encryption is great right?  Everyone should use it everywhere right?
But, if you’re like many, you may be overwhelmed at the different terms thrown at you and what they mean.
In this talk, we’ll discuss the working (layperson) description of the following items, both technological offerings and crypto primitives, a little bit about what they are and the pros/cons and what risks are and are not mitigated by each: • Pervasive encryption
• Data set encryption
• Encryption in flight
• Encryption at rest
• Self-encrypting drives
• Data Privacy Passport
• Key management (isklm, tke workstation, etc)
