Oracle Cloud Provisioning with IBM Wave and Oracle 12c Cloud Control on IBM z Systems

This session will outline provisioning Oracle databases on IBM z Systems. A combination of IBM Wave for z/VM and Oracle Enterprise manager 12C will be used in the provisioning model for IaaS; PaaS and DaaS. Other IBM Cloud technologies will be outlined. Database provisioning as a Stand alone; active / passive; RAC with ASM will be detailed. Best practices for implementation and early customer experiences also to be discussed; including a new z User with Oracle.
