The IBM Dynamic Partition Manager (DPM) provides a truly simplified way to manage z Systems partitions.  No more HCD, HCM, or stand alone IOCP!  No more dependency on z/OS systems or personnel for dynamic I/O changes! Using DPM, you can create, configure, deploy, and dynamically modify the LPARs in your Linux-only environment (with or without z/VM or KVM) directly from the HMC or via other software that uses the HMC's Web API.  Come to this session to learn how you can automate configuration activity or "bare metal" deployments of large Linux servers into LPARs, and about the integration of  DPM into the OpenStack system management ecosystem.-Richard G.
