The New IBM z15: A technical review of the z15 T02

This session is a technical "deep dive" of the newest member of the IBM Z family, the z15 T02. We will review z15 T02 processor and storage control chip design; cache enhancements; model structure; memory offerings; and the latest additions to z/Architecture, including the IBM integrated accelerator for zEDC. Gain insight into how the PR/SM hypervisor has been enhanced to optimize z15 performance and build a foundation for planning z15 exploitation. Cover the differences between iPDU based power options. Discuss changes coming to the Hardware Management Console; Coupling; STP; z15 packaging; and site tools.
