2022 marks the 55th anniversary of CP/40 going into production and the 50th
anniversary of the announcement of VM/370. Sir Jim the Evangelist will provide
an historical (and hopefully entertaining) view of the evolution of mainframe
virtualization over the decades. Workload evolution will also be covered from
early time- sharing on CP/67 to DOS/VS guests through to PROFS and now to Linux
workloads.
