In this session, the speaker will look at selected topics related to the performance of z/OS V2R1 Communications Server (CS) and prior releases, with a particular focus on performance improvements provided by z/OS V2R1 CS.  The speaker will address the folowing topics:

• Shared Memory Communications over RDMA (SMC-R)
  
• Enhanced Fast Path Sockets
  
• Performance enhancements for OSA Express, such as Inbound Workload Queuing,  Segmentation Offload, and Checksum Offload
