z/VM Express System Installation Is a tool that aims to simplify the
installation of a z/VM system by pre-configuring some program products and
providing best-practice settings. It also provides a Linux system (which we call
ELAN) packed with helpful utilities and automation scripts that can help you
kick off Red Hat OpenShift or IBM Cloud Infrastructure Center. It�s developed by
a team of dedicated IBMers who have learned from experience what will help field
installations of z/VM. There have been many updates to z/VM ESI and ELAN since
the last time we spoke at SHARE, so come along and hear all the latest!
